The Province of Terre-Libre is an province of the Great Empire of Ordonnien. It is located on the west coast of the Mainland and its capital city is Libreville.
History
Before the consolidation
The territory of Terre-Libre was originally part of the State o
f Médavel, principally as a province known as "La Joie".
In the year 1980, a popular insurrection rose in the west of the State of Médavel's territory. Unable to defend itself against the popular force, the Roy conceded, and let the revolutionaries make secession from the State of Médavel.
The Orange Commune was formally founded on the 11th of July, 1980 (MNWD: 11/04/2018). It was formed under a communist ideal of equality and of reduced legislation.
Consolidation into the Empire
In the year of 1994, the Great Empire of Ordonnien made an incursion into the Orange Commune, citing a "lack of Order". The Orange Commune surrendered in the months folloiwing this invasion, and was integrated into the Empire as "Terre-Libre", or "Freed Land".
