The map of the MN World, as of 16/05/2024.(Compressed to 3000p, see uncompressed version)

The "MN World", short for "MeaxisNetwork World" (or "Monde Nouveau World"), is the fictional worldbuilding project in which Ordonnia exists (as the Great Empire of Ordonnia). There also exist other countries, and a set of Rules of the MNWorld.

List of other countries

Belvedair Peninsula

The Belvedair Peninsula is a peninsula on the north west of the Empirical Map. It is considered to be an economic powerhouse.

Cesan Peninsula

The Cesan Peninsula is most known for its biggest country, Cesanatico. However, other countries exist in it, often former colonies of Cesanatico.

Island of Sancy

The Island of Sancy, also called "Arkédusa" by some countries, is an island that formerly belonged to the country of Sancy. Once it was disbanded, it was split amongst three countries: Ordonnia, Himburg, and Varellia

Northern Polentic

Southern Polentic

Time system

Real-life time synchronisation

The MN World is assumed to run at the exact same date than the real world and uses the Gregorian calendar. That means that if it is the 3rd of November, 2024 in the real world, it is also the 3rd of November, 2024 in the MN World.

Abbreviations MNWD ("MN World Date") and RLWD ("Real World Date") are used. An article should be written using one time format as the main date and display the second one in parenthesis with a link back to this section.

Ordonnia's time system

Due to some parts of Ordonnia being inspired of things from MeaxisNetwork or Meaxis's childhood, there is a system used by Ordonnia and other participating nations (denoted by a 🕒 in the list) to convert a real life date for some events to a MN world year (this system MUST not be used to calculate dates). The day and month remain the same, only the year is changed by this system.

It is to note this system is not perfect (for instance, this system has Meaxis to be aged 100+, which is actually canonical).

Real life date range Equivalent range in MN World time
2023 - present 2023 - present
2020 - 2023 1991 - 2023
2016 - 2019 1945 - 1991
2009 - 2016 1900 - 1945
2006 - 2009 1880 - 1900
past - 2006 past - 1880

The formula to calculate a canonical year from a real date is to first get the decimal year from your date.

Note for consistency: Decimal values in all calculations are to be rounded to the 3rd digit of precision.

decimal_year = year + (month/13)

As an example, for the 3rd of November, 2021, the decimal year would be 2021.846. You can then take the starting year from the real life date range and substract it from both your decimal year and from the ending year of the real life date range.

To clarify that, keeping our example of 3/11/21, you should substract 2020 (start RL year) from 2021.846 (=1.846) and 2023 (=3). You can then divide the substracted decimal year by the substracted end RL year. With our example, that's 1.846/3 (=0.615).

Then, you want to multiply the result of that substraction by the substraction of the end MNWorld year and the start MNWorld year. Again, that is 0.615 * (2023 - 1991), which amounts to 0.615 * 32 (=19.68).

Finally, add the start MN World year to that number. 19.68 + 1991 = 2010.68. Rounded to the nearest integer, we land on 2011, and we now know that our November 3rd, 2021 happened on November 3rd, 2011.

Since you and I are lazy and it did take me 30 minutes to write this post... here is a link to ChatGPT that will be able to do all of these calculations for you, and for me aswell.
