Obrie-Obfin, formally known as Obrie-Obfin SA, is an organization created by Ordonnia that later recieve its provisional independence from Ordonnia. It specializes in experiments and special research, particularly on the subjects of social interaction and Roblox physics.

It is the successor of the MeaxisNetwork Department of Science, and is partially held by Ordonnia SA and by C.F.F.O. SdA.

History

In the lore

Obrie-Obfin was created originally as the "Laboratoires Force 5" at an unknown date in July or August 2017 (MNWD: August 2nd, 1970) with purposes of miscellaneous research. The focus quickly shifted to the research of Siroxite's extraordinary properties following its harvesting in Vert-Géant.

Continuation as MeaxisNetwork Department of Science

Following the incorporation of Meaxis's various activities into the "MeaxisNetwork", a "Department of Science" was established on December 14th, 2019 (MNWD: December 14th, 2005).

It was dedicated in the study of physics in Roblox and to conduct experiments, particularly in the Research Center. Canonically, the main experiments that happened there can mostly be attributed to Siroxite's development as a matter-altering chemical compound.

There also happened early tests in improving the recipe for the Leafy Soda. Other technologies, such as "Hyperreality", a VR headset, can be found in the remnants of the Center.

It was formally renamed to the "Technical and Scientific" department at some time in 2020 and suffered from extremely reduced operation. It is sometimes refered to as the "GTS" ("General Technical and Science") department, although "GTS" was an acronym used within the department to categorize certain experiments.

Reformation as "Obrie-Obfin"

Obrie-Obfin was formed in 2022 (MNWD: June 8th, 2017), at a 50% split holding stake between Meaxis and another anonymous individual (commonly referred to as "The Overseer"). It replaced the Technical and Scientific department.

An institute (formerly referred to as the "International Factory") was opened in a small prefecture named "Obriterre" created for the company. It encompasses the city of Obriměst, and the Institute.

Products

Dynamic Chemical Induction Machine

The Dynamic Chemical Induction Machine is a shared effort between Ordonnia and Obrie-Obfin, that was meant to serve for an experiment. The machines since lie dormant (as their presence is still required according to protocol on required urban furniture for Ordonnia games) and have not been majorly used past their testing stage.

Leafy Soda

While Leafy Soda is its own brand, the product itself is manufactured in Cétrogran, with the help of Obrie-Obfin. The Obrie-Obfin logo is visible on most of the 2nd generation and higher Leafy Industries products.

Project "9263" is a life simulator partially created for and by Obrie-Obfin.

The Obrie-Obfin Institute is a facility where testing takes place. It appears on the Translink 3 and Southern Express routes.

Obriměst

Obriměst is a city operated by Obrie-Obfin to house the staff of its facility. It appears on the Translink 3 route.
