The Orange Commune was formally founded on the 11th of July, 1980 (MNWD: 11/04/2018). It was formed under a communist ideal of equality and of reduced legislation.

=== Consolidation into the Empire ===
In the year of 1994, the Great Empire of Ordonnien made an incursion into the Orange Commune, citing a "lack of Order". The Orange Commune surrendered in the months folloiwing this invasion, and was integrated into the Empire as "Terre-Libre", or "Freed Land".
